Private Site: Bridgend
In 2019 South Wales Police chose to use the Brewery Field rugby stadium as the site to be used to house their recently purchased Class 142 set, the result of a scheme named "Transform a Pacer" by previous owner Angel Trains which aimed to see redundant Class 142 vehicles reused in community roles in preference to scrapping them.
The stadium field is not a heritage railway site and the vehicles are very much static, used for training purposes by South Wales Police.
